I’m always looking for ways to improve my sales and sales leadership skills.  I came across this article by Geoffrey James in a Tweet from INC Magazine and want to pass it along to all of you:  http://www.inc.com/geoffrey-james/write-an-executive-summary-that-sells.html    On one hand, everything James says in the article sounds obvious to those of us who are creators and receivers of  sales proposals.  On the other had, the article is a great reminder of the importance and value of making an Executive Summary concise and to the point.  Just for grins, next time I write an executive summary for a proposal I’m going to pull out this article and see how closely my summary follows the suggestions in the article.
